Podcast

I know my audio skill are no where I want them to be when i come to cleaning up audio. In an effort to get better at it I am working on a podcast with my friend Brett.  Check it out

We are four weeks in at this point, this process has been a blast hanging out and recording. What I have discovered along the journey is that, when you don’t use something, you do actually loose it. It doesn’t just go in to a dark corner in your brain, where you hope it will be when you shine a light on, but it disappears from your brain all together.

I remember how to set up mics and recorded the channels … that is not what I am talking about here. I seem to have forgotten how to be talent, I find my self in post constantly hiding the breaths that I take or trying to splice audio so that my thoughts flow better. This will take me any where of 40-60 minutes a track to take care of 10 minutes of audio. I want to be to the point where I can get it done all done in 30 minutes.

This is something that I am trying to be more aware of in my day to day activities.  Since I have started trying to be come more aware of the fact that I tend to use “ummm” and *Snaps* to hold my place till I can get a thought out.

All that aside, check out the podcast and let me know what you think or what you want to hear us chat about.
